some neat things!

As of right now, these are just up for sale at Tight Knit. Unless they don't sell on Black Friday, then they'll likely go up on Etsy.

First, a drawing that I did, entirely in colored pencil (which took a lot of work making sure I filled in practically every single speck of white on the paper)]. I don't know what to name it, so, maybe I'll leave it as "untitled #1" - because I'm sure that there will be more "untitled"s to come (I'm not very good at coming up with names for things...).

Second, the owl tote that I kind of don't want to part with! I found the fabric when I walked into Joann's only intending to buy photo corners, & as usual, I wound up buying a bunch of other random things as well. Oh, cute little bag, how I do not want to part with thee.... I'll just have to buy more fabric & make one for myself!

And then there is the little owl journal (I apologize for the sorta-crappy picture), which is hand-bound. It's not easy sewing 60 sheets of paper together (I think I did five at a time?), but I am quite happy with the finished product! I'm a journal fiend, so if I didn't have so many already, I'd probably be making one for myself as well... Next time I need a new journal I'll certainly be making myself one from more rescued half-used notebooks, though!

I think that's plenty for now.... I have an empty belly & pizza to eat.

hello, world!

So, I have finally given up battling with blogger for the time being to use my own images for a template after failing miserably at using an older, & apparently outdated, layout I had made & then modified.

I'll be posting more detailed updates on here about projects I'm working on, what I'm up to (for anyone in New York's Capital Region, Tight Knit's Winter Market is coming up!!!), & maybe some mischief I happen to get into.

Keep your eyes peeled!
